Sunday Library Closures Continue Through September

The Half Hollow Hills Community Library will keep the Melville and Dix Hills branches physically closed on Sundays through September 13. The Melville branch at 510 Sweet Hollow Road will not offer in-person borrowing, returns, or programs on those days, but the library says its digital resources remain available 24 hours a day. Residents planning a Sunday library visit should use the online collection or schedule in-person business for Monday through Saturday. This is an ongoing Sunday schedule change, not a one-day closure.
