Matinecock Excluded From Cleanup Day

Matinecock residents should note that the Town of Oyster Bay's Homeowners Cleanup Program is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Solid Waste Disposal Complex, 101 Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Road in Old Bethpage. The town's current program schedule lists Matinecock among the villages that are not permitted to use the Homeowners Cleanup Program and advises residents to contact their local garbage district for disposal options. The program requires proof of residency and accepts non-hazardous items such as tires, yard waste, large metal items, concrete, boats and trailers from eligible residents.
