Workshop Covers Local Street Safety

The Copiague Memorial Public Library will host Staying Safe on Our Streets on Monday, September 21, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Safety experts from the New York Coalition for Transportation Safety will discuss New York State laws and technologies intended to protect pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists, along with practical tips for Long Island roadways. The workshop is scheduled for Meeting Room 1 at 50 Deauville Blvd. Registration is required, registration closes at 6:30 p.m. on the event date, and a Copiague library card is required.
