Clearwater Council Reviews Major Local Proposals

Clearwater City Council meets Thursday, August 20, at 6 p.m. in the Main Library Council Chambers. The published agenda includes first readings for three annexation and land-use cases, a proposed development agreement for properties at 10 and 18 Bay Esplanade, and proposed changes involving a Stevenson Creek manatee protection zone. Council also is scheduled to consider water, wastewater, public safety, airport and pedestrian and bicycle safety items. The meeting is open to the public and is available through the city's meeting broadcast channels.
