Library Explores American Art Experience

The Smithtown Library will present The American Experience on Tuesday, September 15, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Commack Building Community Room, 3 Indian Head Road. Artist and professor Chris Vivas will examine American art through social issues, cultural shifts, and examples of American ingenuity as the nation marks its 250th anniversary. Registration and a Smithtown Library card are required, and registration closes when the program begins. The program is open to adults and offers a local evening lecture for residents interested in history, culture, and the arts.
