SLED Brings Independence Hall Experience

The Smithtown Library's SLED mobile time machine will visit the Smithtown Building parking lot Thursday, September 17, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. The Independence Hall on the SLED program invites children, teens, adults, and families to sign a reproduction of the Declaration of Independence and receive a time-travel souvenir photo. Visitors can also tour the library's renovated lower level and learn about its Government Services Department. No registration is required. The program is scheduled at 1 North Country Road in Smithtown and is available to patrons from the library system's Commack service area.
